Tier 1 - Parts Only Warranty Coverage

This option covers a replacement Transmission and cost of shipping to the repair facility, including core return. Labor, Towing and Car Rental are not covered under this warranty.

 

Tier 2 - Parts & Labor Warranty Coverage

• Labor - Pre Approved rate up to $65 per hour paid at Honda/Acura Factory Book Time
• Car Rental - Covers up to 3 days at a maximum of $35 per day
• Towing - Up to $100

 

Tier 3 - Parts & Labor Warranty Coverage

• Labor - Pre Approved rate up to $95 per hour paid at Honda/Acura Factory Book Time
• Car Rental - Covers up to 5 days at a maximum of $35 per day
• Towing - Up to $100

 

Tier 4 - Parts & Labor Warranty Coverage

• Labor - Pre Approved rate up to $125 per hour paid at Honda/Acura Factory Book Time
• Car Rental - Covers up to 7 days at a maximum of $35 per day
• Towing - Up to $100

 

Tier 5 - Parts & Labor Warranty Coverage

• Labor - Pre Approved rate up to $150 per hour paid at Honda/Acura Factory Book Time
• Car Rental - Covers up to 10 days at a maximum of $35 per day
• Towing - Up to $100

Buyer specifically acknowledges that the units are not supplied with some external components such as speed sensors, ATF feed pipes, selector switches, ect. and will require components to be transferred.

 

 This warranty will not apply to, and will automatically be deemed void if:

• Anti-freeze is found to have contaminated the unit (caused by a bad radiator).
• Water or other liquid is found to have contaminated the unit (flood damage).
• The in-line filter (supplied by H&A) has not been installed where applicable (must return used filter on any warranty claim upon request).
• The unit was overfilled (blowing out seals) or under filled (causing internal damage).
• The transmission was used for racing purposes (causes severe differential damage).
• The unit is damaged due to overheating. This is normally caused when the radiator loses circulation due to deposit build-up and the cooler, which is housed inside the radiator, is not able to adequately perform it's function. (Evidence of overheating is shown by way of a brown, black or discolored torque converter)
• The external ATF cooler supplied has not been installed where required. (Must return used cooler on any warranty claim upon request).
• Improper installation of the unit.
• Vehicle has been towed improperly, based on factory guidelines. This will cause internal damage.
• Modifications or additions have been made to the unit by anyone without the authorization of H&A Transmissions, Inc.
• Unit has been damaged in an accident, fire, or the unit shows signs of neglect, misuse or abuse.
• Failure to properly maintain / service the transmission.

 

CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY.
